Job Summary
Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor (Tenure Track) position at the West Lafayette campus beginning in August 2023. Exceptional candidates are sought to join our fast-growing department and academic programs.
The position is in the area of Data Analytics, Technologies, and Applications including aspects of data science and engineering, database management systems, and related areas. Responsibilities include participating in both undergraduate and graduate course delivery and education assignments, engagement with industry, the community, and colleagues within the computing discipline. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to participate actively in Purdue's Integrative Data Science Initiative (IDSI) and engage across campus in related endeavors to help meet the increased instructional demands created by our newly launched major – Data Analytics, Technologies, and Applications (DATA) – while enabling continued development of research programs in related areas.
