The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Electrical or Computer Engineering, appointment effective Fall 2024. Duties and responsibilities: The successful candidates will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and the potential to establish a research program that involves both undergraduate and graduate students. Teaching responsibilities will include both introductory and advanced courses, as well as assisting in curriculum development.  The applicant will be expected to advise students; serve on department, college and university committees; and engage in professional activities.  Applicants whose work supports the university's Learn by Doing philosophy and demonstrate a commitment to diversity in higher education are particularly encouraged to apply.
