Overview
THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING invites applications for a tenure-track or non-tenure track Assistant professor position in Systems Engineering beginning August 15, 2023. Responsibilities will consist primarily of teaching systems engineering courses at the graduate level and advancing research in your field of interest. The successful candidate will be required to build and sustain a research enterprise that advances intellectual contributions to the systems engineering community, supervise graduate theses and dissertations, perform service at the college and university levels, and actively participate in continuing efforts to improve the college’s education mission.
Minimum qualifications: PhD in Systems Engineering or closely related discipline and the ability to work effectively with full-time and part-time graduate students.

The College has ABET accredited undergraduate programs in chemical, civil, computer, electrical, and mechanical engineering as well as master’s degree programs in each department including systems engineering. The College also has a vibrant and diversified systems engineering PhD program.
