Immediate Opening for Associate Research Scientist with Professor Andrew Smyth at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering & Applied Science, Department of Civil Engineering & Engineering Mechanics and Principal Investigator for the NSF Engineering Research Center for Smart Streetscapes. The successful candidate will conduct leading-edge research in smart city technology and applications with the following responsibilities: 

  • Integration of technologies and research products to build applications; 

  • Recommending technologies to support projects;

  • Executing software engineering tasks;

  • Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans;   

  • Mentoring;

  • Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including engineers, social scientists, and urban planners.
