The Opportunity
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applicants for a 9-month, full-time, non-tenure earning lecturer position with an anticipated start date of August 8, 2023. The primary responsibility of the position is teaching undergraduate courses related to electrical circuits, semiconductor devices, signal processing, and introductory programming for ECE students.
ECE has strong educational programs, with over 200 graduate students and 1,500 undergraduates, and state-of-the-art facilities, the L3Harris Engineering Center, and Interdisciplinary Research 1 Building.
Located in Orlando, UCF and ECE are at the center of Florida High Tech Corridor with an excellent industrial base in telecommunications, energy, computer systems, semiconductors, defense, space, laser, simulation, and software industries, as well as the world-renowned entertainment/theme park industry.
Exceptional weather, easy access to seashore, one of the largest convention centers in the nation and an international airport ranked among the world's best are just a few features that make the UCF/Orlando area ideal.
