The Children's Environmental Health Initiative (CEHI) program in Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking Research Specialist (GIS Analysts) to join our team. This position contributes to the design and delivery of research projects and collaborates with researchers to develop, execute, and interpret research projects. Performs complex data collection and study methods. Research Specialist (GIS Analyst) supports a series of social and environmental justice projects operating at the nexus of health, the environment, and inequalities. The Children's Environmental Health Initiative (CEHI) is a research, education, and outreach program committed to fostering environments where all people can prosper.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform spatial data processing, analysis, and documentation.
- Provide technical support for research projects.
- Manage GIS capacity building for diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
