Job Description Summary

Join our team of talented IT professionals working together in a collegial, collaborative environment with great facilities and resources. Consult with and provide technical expertise, support and training for faculty, staff, and students. Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems with computing hardware, software, and network services. Provide instructional, research, desktop, and application support. 40 hour/week schedule. This position may require occasional evening or weekend hours. Vacation may not be taken in September.

Job Responsibilities

• Consult with and provide technical expertise, support and training for Penn Law faculty, staff, and students in various solutions including Office 365, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Canvas, Panopto, Qualtrics, and Zoom.
• Provide expert level support and troubleshooting for both Windows and Mac OS systems, printers, scanners, AV equipment, and other devices. Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems with computing hardware and network services.
• Implement procedures, processes, and automations to onboard and offboard faculty and staff, including coordinating accounts, aliases, systems, resources, orientation, training, and follow-up.
• Support academic and research technology projects and programs including secure exams, focused support, and online course development.
• Create internal as well as user help documentation, blog posts, tips, and instructions. Develop individual/group and online self-paced training programs.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a technical area or technical training equivalent and a minimum of 2 to 3 years of advanced-level technical support experience.
• Expertise in supporting Windows and MacOS computers, printers, scanners, and AV equipment.
• Experience with a wide variety of software applications required including Office 365, One Drive, Teams, Canvas LMS, Zoom, and Qualtrics.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required; ability to work and communicate with users of varying levels of expertise required; organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks and projects.
• Skills and experience in IT Service Management and FreshService/Freshworks products a plus.
• Skills and experience in Endpoint Management (Intune/JAMF) and PowerShell a plus.
